Then, the possibilities.
Explore materials and finishes. Compare samples and consider how they feel in the light of your home. At your free in-home estimate we measure each room and check the existing floor and subfloor, so nothing is left to guesswork.
A plan, together.
Discuss measurements, preparation and a project-specific scope. Bring the practical details into focus. Once you have chosen your floor, our own crew prepares the space and installs the new floor with attention to edges, transitions and baseboards. No subcontractors.
The finishing touches.
Agree on the installation or refinishing plan, then talk through transitions, care and the details that complete the room. When the work is done, we walk the finished floor with you, go over the care basics for your material and make sure you are happy. Every job is backed by guaranteed workmanship.

Where do I start if I do not know which floor I want?
Start with the room, how you live in it and the look you love. The material studio gives you six starting points. Physical samples help you compare the feel, finish and color in your own light.
Can my existing hardwood floor be refinished?
Possibly. The floor needs to be assessed for its condition, wear-layer thickness and previous sanding. Some engineered wood floors and heavily worn floors may not be suitable.
Can you help me explore products and brands?
Explore the material categories first, then ask about the current collections and samples. Availability varies by finish and quantity. The Urbanfloor L’Artiste Collection is pictured in our sample display.
What goes into a flooring estimate?
The full scope can include material, preparation, removal, installation, transitions, baseboards and disposal. Ask which items are included and which depend on a site assessment.
How long does a flooring project take?
Timing depends on the material, space, preparation, product availability and finishing requirements. A project-specific schedule should be confirmed once the scope is assessed.
Which floor is best for kitchens and bathrooms?
Luxury vinyl with a waterproof core and porcelain or ceramic tile are the usual choices for wet areas, because water does not harm them the way it can harm wood. Laminate with a water resistant rating can work in kitchens if spills are wiped up quickly.
Is luxury vinyl or laminate better?
It depends on the room. Luxury vinyl handles water better and feels softer underfoot. Laminate has a harder, very scratch resistant surface and often feels more like real wood. The flooring guide compares them side by side.
Can new flooring go over my existing floor?
Sometimes. Many floating floors can go over a flat, solid hard floor, while carpet and damaged floors usually need to come out first. We check the existing floor and subfloor at your in-home estimate and explain what your space needs.
How does the free in-home estimate work?
Pick a time on our booking page or call us. We call to confirm, then visit your home to look at the rooms, take measurements and talk through materials and preparation.
